Frequently Asked Questions

The Dapperzapper uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), which is a type of laser hair removal used for long lasting, pain-free hair removal. When the Dapperzapper is used on your hair, it absorbs the Intense Pulsed Light which heats and gradually kills the targeted hair folicles. Zap it like it’s hot.

There have been a number of studies around the world which conclusively prove the safety and effectiveness of Intense Pulsed Laser as a method of hair removal. So we are certain that this method is safe, but for Christs' sake don’t use it in the shower unless you really want a free buzz.

Not at all. One of the advantages of Dapperzapper over other brands is that it’s completely pain-free. Most guys describe the feeling as a warm sensation on the skin. Though you shouldn’t use it to warm your plums in winter.

Dapperzapper provides longlasting results, but even specialised clinics can’t promise a permanent solution. To maintain great results you should use Dapperzapper once a week for 8-26 weeks (depending on how much of a hairy prick you are) then once every 3-4 months for maintenance to keep your six pack, back, sack or crack hair free.

Eye protection is not needed while using Dapperzapper. The handset has been designed with a sensor and will only pulse light when the entire window is pressed against your skin and has a sensor to ensure the whole area is applied on the skin for added safety. Obviously don’t do your eyebrows with it unless you want to lose your sight….dummy.

There is a reduction usually after2-4 treatments using Dapperzapper, with complete results after 9-10 treatments. However, results can vary from person to person, depending on how much of a hairy gorilla you are.

Once a week for the first 8-12 weeks, then once a month, for 2-6 months or until you’re satisfied. If you want to keep the fuzz at bay, we recommend using your handset once every 2-3 months, or as needed to keep your nut-sack looking like a baby’s bottom.

Dapperzapper has 900,000 pulse flashes, which will last over 20 years if used as directed by one person and notby your hairy girlfriend.

The handset has an energy output of 4.9J/cm2, this means it is ideal for safe hair removal and is also approved for effective at-home use, just like your mums' dildo.

You can use your handset on your whole body, including your back sack and crack. Don’t use near eyes unless you want to go blind.

Yes, especially if you’re an exceptionally hairy MOFO you can literally set your hair on fire if you don’t shave beforehand….mmmm, chicken.

If you are that much of a hairy prick, between your treatments you can shave when required. Don’t pluck, or wax as this removes the root which is what absorbs our handset's light during the treatment.

Shave, put the Dapperzapper on the skin, press a button…Viola. There is a video here also on the site.

Nope, buy it an use it.

Unless you have really brown skin, it’s safe.

Short answer, no. Unless you want to lose your tattoo. You can actually use this device for tattoo removal by the way.

If you have tanned recently, please wait 2 weeks before using your Dapperzapper. Please also wait at least 48 hours to tan after using your handset. Artificial tan should also not be on your skin whilst using your handset.. or at all, it stinks and you look like a carrot.
